Thanks for the tip off comments, the error in Paper 2 has been confirmed and this is good news and usually results in the awarding of full marks in that question. 

I have investigated and discovered that The Irish Independent has just released this post:

The State Examinations Commission  (SEC) has admitted that there was an error on today’s Leaving Certificate Maths Higher Level Paper 2. The error, in Question 8, may have been a “cause of confusion for candidates” say exam chiefs who added it was “ regretted”. The SEC said the impact of the error on candidates’ answering will be taken into account by the Chief Examiner when finalising the marking scheme for this examination “The SEC operates within the core principle that candidates cannot be disadvantaged as a result of an error on an examination paper” a spokesperson said. The marking scheme for the paper will, as usual, be published along with those in all other subjects after the issue of results in mid-August and  candidates have the option of appealing their results. The Higher Level Math examination consists of two papers, with a combined total mark allocation of 600 marks.  Of these 600 marks, Question 8 on Paper 2 is worth 30 marks. 


Also studentxpress.ie published the solutions to this paper and suggested:
Question 8: This question contains a serious error. It is not possible to draw a triangle with such dimensions. Using different methods will yield different answers all of which are wrong because there are no right answers. Full marks will be awarded for this question.

Maths paper 1 is on tomorrow. You all have what it takes to succeed - you have worked so hard over the past few years. Make sure and try your best questions first. Have your calculator and pencils ready. Keep an eye on the time so that you can get your attempt marks for every part of every question - even difficult questions may have simple parts or formula involved - so no blanks. Every 25 marks should take 12 minutes no more. Give them reasons to give you marks!. And Good luck.

The syllabus says that you are required to be able to find the volume of a cone and the volume of a sphere by integration. (note the volume of a cylinder is not required anymore) I have attached a one page printable PDF that covers this section below.

This morning I have added in a page "Revision Questions with Solutions" a subpage of "Revision Notes" in the "Home" menu. This might be useful for an overview of Algebra and Calculus in particular although it does contain much more than that. 

I have also gathered the algebra notes and examples in the "Strand 4" page.

I do have notes and further examples of Trigonometric identities and deMoivre in the Complex Number page, I have re linked them here. The example with cos(3x) is probably the most important to follow since it's mentioned in the syllabus.
